Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga.
April 3rd, 1936.
The regular meeting of Council was held today at 4 :00 p. m. and
was attended by Mayor :Bright, who presided, and Councilmen Cann,
Lovell, Dighton, Blumenthal, Logan and Town Attorney McIntire.
As there was no business to come before the Board at this time

A special meeting of Council was held today at 6 :45 p. m. at the Town
Hall of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga..to: receive the report of
the election managers, who conducted the election held this day, the
meeting was attended by Mayor Bright who presided, and Councilmen,
Cann, Blumenthal, Logan, Lovell, Righton. and Sharpley.
The following report of the election was made by the election managers,
Messrs. W. J. Fitzpatrick, L W. Henry and Mrs. Sarah L. Curry, as -
follows:
We, the undersigned duly appointed Managers of the election
held at Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Chatham County, Georgia, upon
the 6th day of April, 1936, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and
six Councilmen, do hereby certify under oath that the said election
was held in the manner and at the time contained in the notice calling
said election and that the laws of the State of Georgia and of Sav-
annah Beach,•Tybee Island, were in all respects fully complied with
and that said e1ect,on was faithfully and impartially conducted and
that the results of said election were as follows, to -wit-

In person came before me, the undersigned, an officer
duly qualified to administer oaths, the above named election man-
agers and each being duly sworn, did severally before me subscribe
and swear hereunto upon this 6th day of April, 1936.•

Council received the report of the election managers and on motion
of Mr. Cann, seconded by Mr. Logan, the following resolution was
adopted.
RESOLUTION
Resolved at a meeting held at Savannah Beach, Tybee island,
on the 6th day of April, 1936 by the Mayor and Councilmen of Sav-
annah Beach, Tybee Island and will all of the several managers named
to conduct the election just concluded and held in the Town of ,
Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, upon the 6th day of April, (61ectio0
manager being absent for providential causes) for the
purpose of electing a Mayor and sir Councilmen for the next ensuing
term and after return of said election had been made to the officers
calling the election, and after said returns had been consolidated
and the results of said election declared, which was done in the
presence of and together with several managers, that the result of said
election be declared as electing: -
O. E. Bright as Mayor
W. G. Logan as Councilman
H. F. Sharpley as Councilman
H. Y. Righton as Councilman
J. F. Cann as Councilman
Wm. S. Lovell as Councilman
A. P. Solomon as Councilman.
for Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, for the next ensuing term. It
appearing from the returns of said managers, which said returns are
hereby adopted and made a part hereof that all of the votes cast in
said election were cast in favor of the above named Mayor and the six
above named Councilmen and that the above named Mayor received the
highest votes cast for Mayor and the above named six Councilmen
received the six highest votes for Councilmen.
There being no further business Council adjourned subject to the
call of the Mayor.
