Once notified by Public Works, the City Council must approve the work that has been
completed, accept the improvements for public use and maintenance and approve the
release of the deposited securities.
CONCLUSION:
The developer (i .e., Maggie Qiu) submitted a Certificate of Deposit in the amount of
$1 ,500 to ensure that street tree improvements were completed at Parcel Map No .
065011 . The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works notified the City that the
street tree improvements were completed, inspected and found to be in compliance
with the approved plans (Attachment "A"). Hence, the City needs to release the
Certificate of Deposit.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
