AN ORDINANCE Ar1ENDING THE RICHLAND HILLS CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CHAPTER 4, GARAGE AND/OR YARD SALES, SECTION 4B(7),RELATING
TO PERMIT REQUIRED FEE AND PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUTdCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS,
TEXAS: '
That Chapter 4, Section 4B(7), of the Code of Ordinances, City of
Richland Hills, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows:
(7) Permit Required for Holding of Sale
No person shall display, offer to sell, or sell such
personal property in the City of Richland Hills with-
out first procuring a permit from the City of Richland
Hills for each such sale, at a cost of five dollars,
($5.00) , at least twenty-four, (24), hours before the
beginning of the display, offering to sell or selling
of such used personal property. Said permit c?~211 be
posted upon the sale premise during the sale.
SAVINGS CLAUSE: If any section, subsection, or sentence, clause ~I
or p rase o this ordinance is for any reason held invalid by a
court of competent jurisdiction, such decision or decisions shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.'..
