Section 1. Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(a) and based on advice from the City
Attorney, the city of Carson determines that a closed session should be held to confer with or
receive advice from the City Attorney regarding six (6) matters of existing litigation involving
the city, the discussion of which in open session would prejudice the position of the city. The
titles of these litigations are:
Colony Cove Properties, LLC v. city of Carson, city of Carson Mobilehome Park Rental

Section 2. A closed session of the City Council of the city of Carson, California,
shall be held forthwith, in recess from this regular meeting, pursuant to Government Code §
54956.9(a), regarding the matter referred to in Section 1. hereof.
