Dear Jud,
About October 1, the City completed its clean-up of your
property as you requested at the Airport Advisory Committee in
September. It is our understanding that Mr. Ross approved the
final work and that our obligation is complete. I regret the
deiay in finishing this.
You also noted the deterioration of the fence posts along
the West side of the runway. We concur that those are of
inferior materials. Our recollection is that, in order to
accelerate that project, we purchased those particular posts from
Payette Lakes Lumber Co.
The balance of the materials were furnished by the contractor.
We will need to replace the posts. Any ideas
In addition, the City Council approved the plans and
specifications for the highway crossing and Dienhard Lane water
main extensions on October 7. If weather holds, we can get this
project in the ground in early November. If not, we will have it
under contract for spring 1994 construction.
If you have questions, please call.
Cordially,
rt u J. Sc midt,
City administrator
