RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 14-19 AUTHORIZING A
PERSON -TO- PERSON
TRANSFER OF A.B.C. LICENSE NO. 1201 -32- 040 -009
FROM: RISHVI LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY
TO: MAVI LIQUOR SUPPLY, INC.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret,
County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, by Mavi Liquor Supply, Inc. for a Person -to-
Person Transfer of ABC License #1201 -32- 040 -009 fiom Rishvi Limited Liability
Company present holder of same and said licensee has consented to assign their rights to
said license to the aforesaid applicant, Mavi Liquor Supply, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, according to law, the application for transfer was duly advertised in the
Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of Carteret and no
objections, either verbally or in writing, were filed or made to the Governing Body or to
the Municipal Clerk regarding said transfer; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has disclosed and the local authority has reviewed the source
of all funds used in the purchase of said license and the licensed business and all
additional financing obtained in connection with the licensed business; and
WHEREAS, the application form is complete in all respects and the applicant is
qualified to be licensed according to all standards established by Title 33 of the New
Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as well as pertinent local ordinances and
conditions consistent with Title 33; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the foregoing, the Borough ABC Board previously
adopted Resolution No. 14 -19 providing for the transfer of said ABC License effective
November 13, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Borough ABC Board has been advised that the effective date of said
transfer provided for in Resolution No. 14 -19 must be amended and extended to coincide
with the title transfer of all business operations arrd assets from the License Holder Rishvi
to the applicant, Mavi Liquor Supply Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the ABC Board
of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that Resolution
No. 14 -19 providing for the transfer of ABC License #1201 -32- 040 -009 from Rishvi
Limited Liability Company to Mavi Liquor Supply, Inc., be amended herewith to provide
that the effective date for said transfer shall be December 6, 2019, then permitting Mavi
Liquopr Supply, Inc. to sell alcoholic beverages in conformity with the laws, statutes,
rules and regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and concerning said license
and to be held by them until said license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is further hereby authorized
and directed to execute the endorsement of this Person -to- Person Transfer on behalf of
the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution be sent
forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of
Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087, Trenton, New Jersey 08625-
0087.
