AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING RESOURCES
FOR THE BUDGET YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1985.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION l: That the budget estimate of the revenues and expenditures
for the City of Richland Hills, Texas, as presented by the City
Administrator and appropriated by the City Council for the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1985, and ending September 30, 1986, be
and is hereby adopted and approved as the budget for such fiscal
year:
SECTION 2: That the sum of one million, nine hundred fifty-seven
thousand, three hundred seventy-eight dollars ($1,957,378.00) is
hereby appropriated out of the General Fund Revenues of the pay-
ment of operating expenses and capital outlay of the City govern-
ment, as set forth in the budget;
SECTION 3: That the sum of one million, two hundred forty-eight
thousand one hundred twenty-five dollars ($1,248,125.00) is hereby
appropriated out of the Water and Sewer Utility Fund Revenues for
the payment of operating expenses and capital outlay of the City
government, as set forth in detail in the budget;
• SECTION 4: That the sum of one hundred thirty thousand, eight hun-
dred, seventy-five dollars ($130,875.00) is hereby appropriated out
of the Water & Sewer Utility Fund Revenues for the purpose of pay-
ing the principal & interest on Revenue Bonds, Warrants, & Interest,
Bond & Fees, as they mature during the year on the Utility Debt
Service as listed in detail in the budget;
SECTION 5: That the sum of two hundred thirty thousand do17_ars
($230,000.00) is hereby appropriated out of the various funds as
stated within the budget for the purpose of paying the expenses
connected with the Special Projects, as set forth in detail in the
budget.
SECTION 6: That this Ordinance be in full force and effect from a.nd
after its adoption.
