ANALYSIS:
Consistent with the Budget Ad Hoc Committee's (i.e ., Mayor Yu and Councilmember
Blum) recommendation staff updated the salary range to reflect the proposed cost of
living adjustment. To process payroll starting on July 1, 2012, the salary ranges have
been updated to reflect the proposed cost of living adjustments in the FY 2012-13 Draft
Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Draft FY 2012-13 City Budget includes $65,000 for the 2% cost of living adjustment
to the full time and part-time employees' salary ranges.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY APPROVING FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME
CLASSES AND SALARY RANGES FOR FISCAL YEAR
2012-13 AND AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES AND
REGULATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the tables of classifications and
salary ranges for full-time and part-time employees that constitute the schedules of
classifications, pay ranges and steps for the compensation plan(s) applicable to all full
time and part-time employees. The attached (Exhibit "A") compensation plans are
effective July 1, 2012, and are identified as "City of Temple City Full-Time Employee
Classes and Salary Ranges" and "Part-Time Employee Classes and Pay Ranges
(Hourly)" for Fiscal Year 2012-13".
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution .
