AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ZONING.
SECTION 21: PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION,
SUBSECTION C. DUTIES AND POWERS, SUBPARAGRAPH
(5), TO PROVIDE THAT FINAL APPROVAL OR
DISAPPROVAL OF ALL PLATS SHALL BE MADE BY THE
CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
I.
That Chapter 12, ZONING, SECTION 21: PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION SUBSECTION C. DUTIES AND POWERS, SUBPARAGRAPH (5)
shall be amended to read as follows:
(5) Recommend to the City Council approval or disapproval of
plans, plats, or replats. The final approval or
disapproval of plans, plats, or replats shall be made by
the City Council. Exercise all other powers of a
commission as to approval or disapproval of plans,
plats, or replats set out in Article 974a and Article
970a, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas.
II.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
any of the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed
insofar as the same are in conflict with the provisions hereof.
III.
The caption of this Ordinance stating in substance the
purpose of this Ordinance and the penalty of this Ordinance shall
be published one time in the official newspaper of the City of
Richland Hills, Texas, upon passage thereof.
IV.
That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
PRESENTED AND PASSED by the City Council of the City of
Richland Hills, Texas, by a vote of 5 "AYES"
and G "NAYS" and 0 "ABSTENTIONS, this the 26th
day of ,7anuary , 1987.
