A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF DONATED FACADE SIGNAGE AT
THE HENNING YOUTH CENTER AND THE WAIVING OF RELATED SIGN
INSTALLATION FEES
WHEREAS, in honor Robert Henning's significant service and
contributions to the Lynwood community the Lynwood City Council renamed the
Lynwood Youth Center to the "Robert Henning Youth Center" at its meeting held
on September 18, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has been offered a donation of facade
signage that reflects the renaming of Youth Center facility; and
. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the donation of the facade signage
as presented and authorizes staff to work with the sign installation company to
coordinate the installation of the donated sign at the Henning Youth Center.
Section 2. The City Council further waives all related contractor fees to
accommodate the installation.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
