A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; ESTABLISHING THE REGULATORY FEE
SCHEDULE FOR PERMITTED RECREATIONAL
ACTIVITIES WITHIN GU GOVERNMENT USE DISTRICT;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30-4 "Zoning and Planning Application Fees," the Village
Council is authorized to impose fees for the filing and processing of zoning and planning
applications and other zoning or planning related services provided by the Village Building, Zoning
and Planning Department; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to establish a regulatory fee schedule for permitted
recreational activities pursuant to Section 30-102 "GU Governmental Use District" of the Village
Code; and
WHEREAS, nothing in this resolution shall affect the Building, Zoning and Planning Fee
Schedule as established pursuant to Resolution No. 2002-45; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing, the Village Council has determined to establish the
regulatory fee schedule for permitted recreational activities within the GU Governmental Use
District, as specified herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals Adopted. That each of the recitals stated above is hereby adopted and
confirmed.
Section 2. Regulatory Fee Schedule. The regulatory fee schedule for permitted recreational
activities within the GU Governmental Use District is established as follows:
a. Application Fees. All Beach Management Plan Applications submitted for approval
pursuant to Section 30-102 of the Village Code shall include the appropriate application fee as
described below:
Beach Management Plans approved by Village Council $ 1000.00
Beach Management Plans approved by Village Manager $ 150.00
Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption
hereof.
