II. STATUS REPORTS:
A. Fliteline Systems: Staff reported that Fliteline has
determined to construct one more building on the site which they
prepared and will abandon the option on all remaining property.
B. AIP, 1994: No Congressional action has been taken to move
the AIP program toward authorization.
C. Master Plan review of other airports; Materials from Coeur
d'Alene and Sandpoint were circulated. These will be passed
around among the members for review.
D. Federal Surplus Property: The status of the Muffin
application was discussed and staff will report on the matter at
the next meeting.
E. RFQ Airport Planning Consultant: Staff has not completed
the draft but that will be forwarded for the April meeting. The
Committee asked if they could visit Don Larson in Renton for a
preplanning conference. Staff agreed to set a date in mid -April
for such a session.
F. Pioneer Aviation Tank Removal: Staff reported that a
report from DEQ was received which indicates that the dirt where
the tank had been was free of contamination and construction as
planned could proceed.
G. Architectural Notes for future hangar construction: An
18'eave should be recommended to those planning future hangars.
H. Snow Removal: Snow removal issues were reviewed
especially wing -tip clearance issues on the new taxiways.
