AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOAB AMENDING SECTION 17.24.040
(A) OF THE CITY OF MOAB CODE CLARIFYING THE TYPE OF FENCES
ALLOWABLE UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.
WHEREAS, the City of Moab staff is recommended an amendment to
the City of Moab code for the purpose of clarification, and
WHEREAS, the City of Moab Planning Commission has reviewed
proposed amendment and has made its recommendations to the
governing body of the City of Moab, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE
CITY OF MOAB that:
1. Section 17.24.040 (A) of the code of the City of Moab is
hereby amended to read as follows:
a. All merchandise, equipment and other materials (except for
seasonal items sold on a temporary basis such as nursery stock,
Christmas trees and vehicles in running order) shall be stored
within an enclosed building or shall be stored within an opaque or
sight obscuring fence, wall or landscaping at least six feet in
height.
2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
