elected as Vice-Chairman.
3 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Planning Commission approved the minutes of their June 12, 2012 meeting.
4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS-None
5. NEW BUSINESS
A . The Planning Commission approved a Conditional Use Permit and Zone
Variance for the construction of a new dwelling unit on the property while
maintaining a four foot three inch side yard setback as a legal nonconforming
condition for the existing dwelling. The subject site is located at 4821 Hallowell
Avenue, and is zoned medium density residential (R-2) by the city's General
Plan.
The Planning Commission approved this item on a 5-0 vote .
6. COMMUNICATIONS
Staff updated the Planning Commission about the upcoming joint City Council I
Planning Commission meeting regarding the Historical Resources Survey to take
place on July 26, 2012, at 7 p.m. at the Historical Society Building.

8. ADJOURNMENT
The Planning Commission meeting was adjourned at 8:07p.m.
