During the Council Meeting of July 3, 2012, Councilmember Blum voluntarily stepped
down from the Los Angeles County City Selection Committee so that Mayor Yu could
appoint Mayor Pro Tern Sternquist in time to qualify her as a candidate for
consideration to fill the vacancy as the County Libraries Representative in District 5 .
Since the original appointment of Councilmember Blum to the Los Angeles County City
Selection Committee was confirmed through the adoption of a City resolution , any
change to the appointment would also have to be made through the adoption of a
resolution .
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to consider adoption of Resolution No. 12-4840
designating Mayor Pro T em Sternquist as the delegate to the Los Angeles County City
Selection Committee .
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact to the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2012-13 City Budget.

CITY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 12-4810 MAKING
APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEES

WHEREAS, on April 3, 2012 the City Council adopted Resolution No . 12-4810 ratifying
appointments made by the Mayor of Councilmembers as delegates and alternates to various
committees; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended a change to the delegate assigned to the committee
referenced below; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1 . Exhibit "A" to Resolution 12-4810 is hereby amended as follows effective
immediately:
