RESOLUTION NO. 2002-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL
DENYING AN APPEAL OF LAND USE APPLICATION 01-009/ZC/HDR
WHEREAS, on January 3, 2002 the Town Council considered an appeal of a
November 14, 2001 Planning Commission action to approve land use application 01-
009/ZC/HDR proposing the rehabilitation and change of use for an existing residential
structure on Assessor Parcel Number 19-102-09 commonly known as the Tin Can Building;
and
WHEREAS, upon accepting and considering all public input and information
received on the appeal application and related deliberation and discussion, the Town
Council acted to deny the appeal, upholding the Planning Commission's action to deny the
appeal and affirm the Community Development Director's approval of land use application
01-009/ZC/HDR; and
WHEREAS, the approval is subject to the requirements of the September 27, 2001
Community Development Director's approval and based upon the findings made by the
Community Development Director attached to the approval; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL, the appeal
of the Planning Commission's decision to approve land use application 01-009/ZC/HDR
is hereby denied, and the Planning Commission's action to approve the application is
upheld; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL the project
staff report and minutes of the January 3, 2002 public meeting are incorporated by
reference and provide a factual basis for denial of the appeal.

The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Truckee, held on the 3rd day of January 2002 by Councilmember Susman
who moved its adoption, which motion being duly seconded by Councilmember
McCormack was upon roll call carried and the Resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers McCormack, Owens and Susman
NOES: Councilmember Schneider and Mayor Florian
ABSENT: None
