CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA
RESOLUTION NO. 2008 -1
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING OF THE
GREENCASTLE /PUTNAM COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., has requested
funding in the amount of Forty - Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) for the year 2008 from the interest
earned on the Industrial Development Fund, plus Three - thousand, Five - hundred Dollars ($3,500.00)
for the travel fund to be used by the City of Greencastle and its designees for the promotion of
industrial development in the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., continues to play
a key role in assisting, retaining and attracting new business and industry to the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE through
its Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development, pursuant to IC 36- 7 -13 -5, hereby
approves a total disbursement of Forty-three Thousand, Five - hundred Dollars ($43,500.00) to the
Greencastle /Putnam County Development Center for the year 2008.

Development at its regular meeting this 3r day of June 2008.
