A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF $60,000 FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED PROP. C FUND TO MTA BUS SHELTER SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS Metro Rapid provided and installed seven new bus shelters
located throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, this project encompasses the replacement of uplifted and
broken concrete paver sidewalks at the following locations:
1. Imperial Highway and Long Beach Boulevard; North -East Corner
2. Long Beach Boulevard and Tweedy Boulevard; South -East Corner
,3, Imperial Highway and Atlantic Avenue; North -East Corner
4. Imperial Highway and Atlantic Avenue; South -West Corner
5. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue; South -West Corner
6. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue; North -East Corner
WHEREAS, on March 24, 2016, the City received a confirmation from MTA
to use Prop C funds in the amount of $60,000, using Prop. C fund to replace the
pavers.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to
make the following funds transfer and appropriations:

Unappropriated Prop C Funds
$60,000
TO
MTA Bus Shelter Sidewalk
Improvement Project
4011.68.013
$60,000
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
