at 9:10 A.M. to consider the permit application of Minnesota Exteriors.
Members present: mayor, Wayne Neddermeyer; Councilmen, Robert Franklin, Arthur Theis
Donald DesLauriers, William Reiser; Clerk, Donna Roehl; Engineer, Lyle Swanson.
Clerk reported that meeting notices had been posted at the Farmers State Bank of Hamel,
the Medina Library and in the City Mall.
Lyle Swanson presented report he had received from the Elm Creek Conservation CommisPion.
They ste.ted that they have no regulations at the present time so they cannot regulate
any building. however they would recommend that the highway department install bigger
culverts to the two access roads.
Performance bond ws presnted by Mr. Bennis and will be reviewed by the attorney.
Motion by Robert Franklin, seconded by William Reiser to grant a variance to Martin and
Zenalou Bennis, Minnesota Exteriors Inc., to provide 29 parking spaces instead of the 40
as recommended by the Zoning Code as part of the building is cold storage and does not
require the heating facilities as does the heated area. The life of the building to be
limited to use of building as thereby built.
Motion carried. Abstaining Donald DesLauriers.
Motion by Robert Franklin, seconded by Arthur Theis to approve issuance of a, building
permit for Minnesota Exteriors, Inc. with bond inrform approved by attorney, to be filed
within 30 days with the City.
