CITY OF TYBEE ISLAND
July 19, 2010

Attendees: Paul Wolff, Bill Garbett, Kathryn Williams, Barry Brown, Joe Wilson, Mary Hogan,
and Diane Schleicher,
I. WATER AND SEWER RATES
A. Motion by Bill Garbett, seconded by Kathryn Williams to recommend to city
council to adopted the rate in the exhibit titled, “Rate Pending City Council
Review and Approval 01/01/2010”. Motion passed.
II. Committee members also discussed the current ordinance language regarding
adjustments for water leakage and special circumstances which includes adjustments
for filling swimming pools. The EPD requires that pool water be disposed of in the
sanitary system and be treated, so the consensus of the committee was to have the
ordinance amended to remove that exemption.
Paul Wolff called for the meeting to be adjourned. All approved.
“A quorum of city council members may be present which would constitute a meeting”
