PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION
WHEREAS, Block 3612 Lots 2 and 3, were subdivided and the lot lines were
adjusted to create two new parcels (3.01 & 3.02) with two new homes, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor has adjusted the tax rolls in 2020 to reflect this
transaction, and
WHEREAS, upon review by the Tax Collector, the Tax Collector is recommending a
partial cancellation of the overbilled taxes otherwise due in the amount of $3,681.34
for block 3612 Lot 3 and $158.67 for Block 3612 Lot 2 for the 2019 tax year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel
taxes as stated above.
