A. REQUEST FROM MID-VALLEY ARTS LEAGUE , INC . FOR
CONSIDERATION OF A FEE WAIVER FOR RESERVED USE OF A
MEETING ROOM AT THE LIVE OAK PARK COMMUNITY CENTER FOR
MONTHLY MEETINGS
The Commission approved the fee waiver in lieu of an "in-kind " donation
of art for the Community Center.
B. REVIEW OF CHANGES REGARDING RESERVED USE OF THE
ATHLETIC FIELDS, TENNIS COURTS, AND PICNIC SHELTERS AT
LIVE OAK PARK
The Commission reviewed information presented regarding changes that
were made to the City's policies and procedures for reserved use of the
athletic fields, tennis courts and picnic shelters at Live Oak Park in 2011.
The Commission provided direction to staff in two areas -occasional use
permits for the athletic fields and non-peak hours for the tennis courts .
6. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS
A . The Commission received and filed the Parks and Recreation Director's
Report for September 2012 .
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to review the Parks and Recreation Commission actions
of their meeting of September 19, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2012-13 City Budget.
