THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO.3 g>.,5'
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER CHARGES;
AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 31; AND
REPEALING ORDINANCES NUMBER 104, 185, 232 AND
ALL OTHER CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Amending Section 2 of Ordinance Number 31
Section 2 of Ordinance Number 31 of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas is amended to
read as follows:
"Section 2. Charges
There is levied on each sewerage system user having a sewer connection with the
sewerage system of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, or otherwise discharging sewage,
industrial waste, or other liquids, either directly or indirectly into the city sewerage system
which ultimately enters the sewerage system of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas a monthly sum
pursuant to a fee schedule enacted by Resolution of the Governing Body of the City of Bel
Aire, Kansas."
All other sections of Ordinance Number 31, not previously amended, shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 2. Repeal
Ordinances Number 104, 185 and 232 are hereby repealed. All other ordinances
or parts of other ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed. However, any section of an
existing ordinance not in conflict herewith is not repealed and remains in full force and
effect.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
official city newspaper.
