AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF MOAB OFFICIAL ZONE MAP
WHEREAS, the Moab City Planning Commission and City Council desire to update the
City of Moab Official Zone Map to a more accurate digital base mapping format; and
WHEREAS, the Moab City Planning Commission and City Council desire to make zone
amendments to promote the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity, and
general welfare of the present and future inhabitants of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Moab City Planning Commission held a public hearing March 25, 1993
and the Moab City Council held a public hearing June 15, 1993 concerning the adoption of
the City of Moab Official Zone Map,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MOAB CITY COUNCIL that effective
upon the signing of this Ordinance, the City of Moab Official Zone Map with its amended
zoning boundary lines and zone changes shall be declared to be an official record of the
City and shall be included as a part of title 17 of the Moab Municipal Zoning Ordinances.
