RESOLUTIO N.
In memory and recollection and for the purpose of
paying respect to KATRINA SCHIRM LOVELL, We the Mayor
and Councilmen of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Georgia,
do hereby make recognition to a woman, who represented
the type which has made this nation a reat nation and
and tm her death we bow our heads in sorrow and desire
this tribute to be placed upoia the permanent records of
Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Georgia, as a memorium,to
her.
Born in Savannah upon the 10th day of July, 1867, and
dying in Savannah upon the 6th day of May, 1937, she not
only inspired her immediate people but oth-rs as well and
was arnuch loved member of this community.
Her husband, the Honorable Robert P. Lovell served
for over a period. of Twenty-five y_ars (25) and contri-
buted. largely to make the Town of Savannah D,each what
it is to-day.
It is, therefore, with great respect and ernest
thought that we record th s tribute to a woman, whom
with her husbnd did so much to build savannah Beach
at a time when so few people thought it worth building.
