4. NEW BUSINESS
A. The Planning Commission approved a determination of public convenience and
necessity for Metro Super Market. A proposed grocery store located at 4819
Temple City Boulevard, requirement of the State Department of Alcoholic
Beverage Control when an area has an overconcentration of alcohol licenses.
The Planning Commission approved this item on a 3-0 vote .
B. The Planning Commission approved a Conditional Use Permit to allow the
installation of a wireless facility in the athletic field of Temple City High School
located at 9501 Lemon Avenue. The proposal included the removal of an
existing light pole in the athletic field with the replacement of a new 70-foot tall
light pole, which will serve as a dual-function pole with both lighting fixtures and
wireless antennas. A total of nine antennas will be attached to the pole beneath
the lighting fixtures, including an enclosed equipment area nearby. The subject
site is located in the Single Family Residential (R-1) zone and is designated
Institutional by the City's General Plan.
The Planning Commission approved this item on a 3-0 vote .
C. The Planning Commission approved a Conditional Use Permit, Tentative Parcel
Map, and a Zone Variance to allow the development of a residential
condominium project consisting of two detached residential units at 5702 Temple
City Boulevard. The subject site is located in the High Density Residential (R-3)
zone as by the City's General Plan.
The Planning Commission approved this item on a 3-0 vote .
