An Ordinance amending the Moab City Zoning Ordinance.
WHEREAS, Moab City has established a Zoning Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Moab City wants to amend the
Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed and recommended
a change; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been advertised and held;
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the governing body of Moab
City that:
Moab City Code Section 17.45.060 Special Provisions is hereby
amended to delete paragraph D and to read as follows:
17.45.060 Special provisions. The following special
provisions shall apply in this zone in order to protect its
essential characteristics and to promote the purposes of this
title:
A. For the purposes of determining front, side and rear
setback requirements, any separate building situated within twelve
feet from a dwelling or other main building shall be considered as
a part of the main building and not as an accessory building.
B. The ground floor area of all dwellings shall be at least
seven hundred square feet.
C. The maximum permitted density of planned unit
developments shall be eight dwelling units per acre of land
contained within the development.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
Passed and approved by a majority vote of the City Council
this 16th day of November , A.D. 1993.
