RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PERSON -TO- PERSON
TRANSFER OF A.B.C. LICENSE NO. 1201 -33- 018 -003

TO: ROOSEVELT HOSPITALITY, LLC
WHEREAS, on October 21. 2019, the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex and
State of New Jersey ("ABC Board") passed Resolution # 15 -19 approving the application by Roosevelt
Hospitality, LLC, ( "Roosevelt Hospitality") for a Person -to- Person Transfer of ABC License #1201 -33-
018 -003 from Carteret Executive Caterer, LLC, the then present holder of same and said licensee had
consented to assign their rights to said license to the aforesaid applicant, Roosevelt Hospitality; and
WHEREAS, it subsequently became apparent that Roosevelt Hospitality did not then possess the
necessary tax clearance required for said transfer, and thus, the prior approval of said transfer roust be
formally rescinded; and
WHEREAS, Roosevelt Hospitality has demonstrated proof that it has secured the required tax clearance to
allow the application for the requested Person -to- Person Transfer of the aforesaid license to be duly
considered by the ABC Board, and according to law, the application for the transfer was duly advertised in
the Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of Carteret and no objections, either
verbally or in writing, has been filed or made to the ABC Board or to the Municipal Clerk regarding said
transfer; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has filrtrer disclosed, and the local authority has reviewed, the source of all
funds used in the purchase of said license and the licensed business and all additional financing obtained in
connection with the licensed business; and
WHEREAS, the application form is complete in all respects and the applicant is qualified to be licensed
according to all standards established by Title 33 of the New Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as
well as pertinent local ordinances and conditions consistent with Title 33.
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the ABC Board of the Borough of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That Resolution # 15 -19, previously adopted by the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret
providing for the aforementioned transfer of ABC License #1201 -33 -018 -003, is hereby rescinded.
2. That ABC License #1201 -33- 018 -003, heretofore granted to Carteret Executive Caterer, LLC, be
and the same is hereby transferred effective this March 20, 2020, to the applicant, Roosevelt
Hospitality, LLC, to sell alcoholic beverages in conformity with the laws, statutes, rules and
regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and concerning said license and to be held by
them until said license expires, or is duly transferred fully, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk/ABC Board Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the endorsement of this Person -to- Person Transfer on behalf of tine ABC Board of the
Borough of Carteret; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution be sent forthwith to the
State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control,
Licensing Bureau, CN 087, Trenton, New Jersey 08625 -0087.
