MINUTES
September 1, 1993
Attending: Ted Whiteman, Vice Chairman
DeEtte McCarty
Carl Hoss
Frank Brown
Charles Denham
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Vice Chairman Whiteman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Kay Larson and Jeff Goodman were absent while all other members
were present.
MINUTES:
The minutes of August 4, 1993 were approved as presented.
DeEtte McCarty informed the Committee that her term is up and she
will resign after this meeting. Ted Whiteman extended the
Committee's appreciation for her service.
NEW BUSINESS:
1) Credit Card Number for Tee Time Reservations:
The Committee decided that in order to research this properly,
more time is needed. This subject will be looked at with the fee
structure this winter.
OTHER BUSINESS:
Carl suggested that there be a cart loading ramp at the new cart
storage site. Frank Brown will check with the contractor to see
if this is a possibility.
Carl also expressed concern about the seniors tournament. *****
He wasn't sure whether or not he will have to pay the fees.
Frank Brown moved to recommend to City Council that the senior
tournament be exempt from greens fees this year only, because no
action was taken to change last year's precedent. DeEtte McCarty
seconded and the motion carried.
Carl also informed the Committee of another tournament that he's
been approached with. It's called the Treasure Valley Ladies and
has 72 players to be held in October. The Committee felt that
they hadn't been given enough time to analyze this and declined
to make a motion.
A question was raised about whether or not there is plans for a
restroom facility on the New 9 holes. Superintendent Denham did
not have an answer for this question, but will inquire.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business the meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 6, 1993.
Respectfully Submitted,
Ted Whiteman,
Vice Chairman
