AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE ESCROW
AGREEMENT - TOWNSHIP OF EAST AMWELL
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has entered into a Regional Contribution
Agreement with the Township of East Amwell to receive up to $400,000.00 in
affordable housing funds; and
WHEREAS, according to the Rules of Council on Affordable Housing (COAH) an
escrow agreement must be completed prior to the receipt of any such funds; and
WHEREAS, said agreement must be signed by the Mayor of the receiving
municipality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the Borough of
Carteret authorizes Mayor Peter J. Sica to perform this signatory duty on the escrow
agreement.
