RE: CARTE RET DPW/VERIZON CELL TOWER WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional environmental services related to environmental consulting services to assist the Borough of Carteret in order to bring the above- referenced site into compliance with NJDEP regulations and guidance; and WHEREAS, Excel Environmental Resources, Inc. possesses the requisite knowledge, training, experience and professional license to provide.said services; and has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a cost not to exceed a total amount of $15,435.00; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. Acct. 4 0 -01 -20 -165 -257 WHEREAS, the scope of work includes completion of a NJDEP file review, retention of a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), preparation of an updated Receptor Evaluation, compile and prepare a Remedial Investigation/Remedial Action Report (RURAR) based on work conducted by others, submit a Classification Exception Area proposal for Historic Fill (CEA Factsheet) and file a Deed Notice (DN) and Soil Remedial Action Permit (RAP) for the documented site -vide Ilistoric Fill_ Scope.also includes issuance of an RAO. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret as follows: . 1.
