HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2012-14RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -14 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION TO INDIVIDUAL MEDICAL AND DENTAL PLANS Whereas, A W Welt Ambrisco Insurance, Inc. has proposed to have the Employee Individual Health and Dental premiums be paid 99% by the City and 1% by the employee, and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin agrees that this practice is standardly accepted as a formal way to offer employee benefits; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to have Employee Individual Health and Dental premiums paid 99% by the City and 1% by the employee. On the 25th day of April, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Weipert introduced Resolution No. 2012 -14, A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS TO INDIVIDUAL MEDICAL AND DENTAL PLANS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Ball, Weipert, Ryan. Nays: none. Absent: Bartels and Upton. Whereupon 3 Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -14, A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS TO INDIVIDUAL MEDICAL AND DENTAL PLANS be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
