THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 3;g to
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND INCORPORATING
CERTAIN LAND WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY
OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Annexation
The following described land, including adjacent rights-of-way, that abuts property
which is within the corporate limits of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, comes to the City of Bel
Aire for annexation upon the written consent for annexation by its owners, and therefore
meets one or more of the conditions for annexation prescribed in K.S.A. 12-520, is hereby
annexed and incorporated within the corporate limits of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, to-wit:
A tract of land legally described as the North half of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 20, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M., Sedgwick County,
Kansas, excepting therefrom ten (10) acres described as follows, to-wit: the South
ten (10) acres of the West twenty (20) acres of the North half of said Quarter, the
Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M.,
Sedgwick County, Kansas, excepting therefrom ten (10) acres described as follows,
to-wit: a tract commencing at the Northeast corner of said Quarter, running thence
South 495 feet along the East side of said Section; thence West 880 feet; thence
North 495 feet to the North line of said Section; thence East 880 feet to the point of
beginning and the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 26 South, Range 2
East of the 6th P.M., Sedgwick County, Kansas, including the following adjacent
rights-of-way, to-wit:
The roadway and adjacent rights-of-way on the North and South of said roadway of
53rd Street North located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the East right-of-
way line of Rock Road and a point on the North line of the Northeast Quarter of

Section 20, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M. 880 feet West of the
Northeast corner of said Quarter;
The roadway and adjacent rights-of-way on the North and South of said roadway of
45th Street North located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the Southwest
corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of
the 6th P.M. and the East right-of-way line of Webb Road;
The roadway and adjacent rights-of-way on the East and West of said roadway of
Webb Road located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the North right-of-way
line of 45th Street North and the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 20, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M.;
A tract of land legally described as the Northwest Quarter, the Northeast Quarter
and the Southeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the
6th P.M., Sedgwick County, Kansas, including the following adjacent rights-of-way,
to-wit:
The roadway and adjacent rights-of-way on the East and West of said roadway of
Webb Road located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the North right-of-way
line of 53rd Street North and the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 21, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M.;
The roadway and adjacent rights-of-way on the North and South of said roadway of
53rd Street North located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the East right-of-
way line of Webb Road and the East right-of-way line of Greenwich Road;
The roadway and adjacent rights-of-way on the North and South of said roadway of
45th Street North located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the Southwest
corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of
the 6th P.M. and the East right-of-way line of Greenwich Road;
The roadway and adjacent rights-af-way on the East and West of said roadway of
Greenwich Road located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the North right-of-
way line of 45th Street North and the North right-of-way line of 53rd Street North;
A tract of land legally described as the West half of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 22, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M., Sedgwick County,
Kansas, including the following adjacent rights-of-way, to-wit:
The roadway and adjacent rights-of-way on the North and South of said roadway of
53rd Street North located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the East right-of-
way line of Greenwich Road and the Northeast corner of the West half of the

Northwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 26 South, Range 2 East of the 6th P.M.
Section 2. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
official city newspaper.
