Therm nutes_ of, the _.meeting_ of November 5th wer read _and approved.,
A petition was. read from the Savh Beach Fire Department requesting
that $100.00 received from the sale of the old fire engine be
turned over to them toward the= purchase- =o i dy of bylthem on.. the
island. The matter was referred to the Town Attorney.
It was moved, seconded and passed that $ 25.00 be donated to the
Christmas Tree fund to be used in connection with the community
Christmas tree.
A request from the Juvenile Court for assistance in caring for
the family of Molly Drayton,who were moved from Savh Beach to
a place near Thunderbolt, as the mother, Molly Drayton was of
unsound mind, was refused.
A bill of %fir. Perry Brannan for $250.00 for legal services ren-
dered in case of Mrs. Harley L.Thomas was presented, Councilman
Righton moved t,�at it be paid, which was not seconded; a motion
was made that�'i Mayor could not attend the meeting, due to his
having been detained at another, it be held up until a later
meeting at which time he could attend, as Council did not want
to discuss it in his absence. This was seconded and passed.
There being no further business Council adjourned ,:ub:ect to
