A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE FISCAL YEAR 2016 -17 BUDGET WITH APPROPRIATE
CLASSIFICATION /POSITION CHANGES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood (the "City Council ") reviewed
the FY 2016 -17 Department Proposed Budget for the City of Lynwood attached herein
and made a part of this resolution through this reference; and
WHEREAS, the agenda for the July 19, 2016 meeting of the City Council was
duly posted, and the FY 2016 -17 Department Proposed Budget and all related agenda
material were made available to the interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Lynwood Budget for Fiscal Year 2016 -17 is hereby
adopted as presented in the City Manager's FY 2016 -17 Proposed Budget.
Section 2. The Fiscal Year 2016 -17 City Manager's Proposed Budget will be
amended by adding, deleting, reclassifying, and /or transferring the
classifications /positions and their funding as follows:

Section 3. That the deletion of filled positions may be subject to meet and confer
obligations with the employee bargaining unit and that the City Manager is authorized to
adjust the adopted budget to comply with the terms of existing employee agreements
approved by Council.
Section 4. That the separation date for the elimination of filled positions will be
October 1, 2016.
Section 5. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to carry over
incomplete Capital Improvement Projects with remaining account balances and
available funding sources from the prior fiscal year, to allow the work in progress
relative to these projects to continue in an uninterrupted manner contingent upon
revenues being available.
Section 6. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to approve any
transfer between accounts provided that they are within the same department and the
same fund.
Section 7. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 8. The'City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
