RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PERSON- TO- PERSON/PLACE -TO -PLACE
TRANS I E R OF A.B.C. LICENSE NO. - 1201 - 33032 -013
PROM: PADAM V. PATE TO: CARTERET BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP, INC.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret; County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, by Carteret Business Partnership,
Inc. for a Person -to- Person/ Place -to -Place Transfer of ABC License #1201 -33- 032 -013
from Padam V. Patel present bolder of same, whose address is 25 Orchid Court,
Sayreville, -New Jersey and said licensee has. consented to assign their rights to said
licenseto the aforesaid applicant, Carteret Business Partnership, Inc., whose address is 61
Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, according to law, the application for transfer was duly advertised in the
Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of Carteret and no
objections, either verbally or in writing, were filed or made to the Governing Body or to
the Municipal Clerk regarding said transfer, and
WHEREAS, the applicant has disclosed and the local authority has reviewed the source
of all funds used in the purchase of said license and the licensed business and all
additional financing obtained in connection with the licensed business; and
WHEREAS, the application form is complete in all respects and the applicant is
qualified to be- licensed according to all standards established by Title 33 of the New
Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as well as pertinent local ordinances and
conditions consistent with Title 33.
N NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the ABC Board
the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that ABC License
#1201 - 33 -013, heretofore granted. to Padam V.. Patel,. be. and the same is hereby
transferred to the applicant, Carteret Business Partnership, Inc., whose address is 61
Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey to sell alcoholic beverages in conformity with the
laws, statutes, rules and regulations of the State of New Jersey and with the resolutions,
ordinances, rules and regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and concerning
said license and to be held by them until said license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk/ABC .Board Secretary is
hereby authorized and directed to execute the endorsement of this Person -to- Person/
Place -to -Place Transfer on behalf of the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret effective
immediately; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution be sent
forthwith to the State of New.Jersey, Department -of Law & Public Safety, Division of
Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087, Trenton, New Jersey 08625-
0087.
