RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT
APPROVING OF AN EASEMENT DEED GRANTING
RIGHTS FOR UNDERGROUND TELEPHONE UTILITIES TO
PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY, AUTHORIZING
OFFICER TO EXECUTE SAID DEED AND AUTHORIZING
GENERAL MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL OTHER
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY OR APPROPRIATE TO CLOSING
OF THE TRANSACTION (PORTIONS OF PICCHETTI RANCH AREA)
The Board of Directors of The Midpeninsula Regional Open
Space District does resolve as follows:
Section One. The Board of Directors of The Midpeninsula
Regional Open Space District does hereby authorize the granting of
an easement to Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for rights
to install and maintain underground telephone utilities, and
appurtunates thereto,on portions of the Picchetti Ranch property
as set forth on Exhibit A, as attached hereto and by this reference
made a part hereof.
Section Two. The President of the Board or other appropriate
officer is authorized to execute any deed(s) granting easement
title to said property. The General Manager is authorized to
execute any and all other documents in escrow necessary or appro-
priate to the closing of the transaction.
Section Three. The Board of Directors finds that the granting
of this easement is in accordance with the Basic Policy of
the District and is not detrimental to the open space character
of the Picchetti Ranch site.

MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT, a public district
Grantor, hereby grants to THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY, its successors and
assigns,.Grantee, the right from time to time to construct, place, inspect, maintain, replace and remove com-
munication facilities consisting of underground conduits, pipes, manholes, service boxes, wires, cables, other
electrical conductors, aboveground marker posts, risers and terminals, and other appurtenances, together
with a right of way therefor and the right of ingress thereto and egress therefrom, across, upon, in and under
the following described real property in the unincorporated area
County of Santa Clara , State of California:
Parcels 1, 2, 3, and a portion of Parcel 5 lying within the east
half of the southwest quarter (E 1/2 of S/W 1/4) of Section 28,
Township 7 South, Range 2 West, M. D. B. & M., as described in
and conveyed by deed from Anita Picchetti, a widow, and Josephine
Picchetti, a widow, to Midpeninsula Regional Park District, a
public municipality, dated December 14, 1976, and recorded in
the office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, on December 15, 1976, in Book C475 of Official Records
at page 492.
Said facilities shall be placed within 10 feet of the line surveyed by
Grantee and staked on said real property, the approximate location of said line
is shown by a heavy dashed line on the aerial photo map marked exhibit A, attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
