AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH BEACON PLANNING & CONSULTING SERVICES, LLC
FOR VARIOUS PLANNING /ENGINEERING PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized planning/engineering
services in connection with various projects in the Borough; and
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, Colts Towne Plaza, Suite
207, 41 State Highway 34 South, Colts Neck, New Jersey 07722, possesses the requisite
experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, has submitted a proposal to
provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $25,000.00 and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose. Acct. # 0- 01 -20- 165 -254
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC
for planning/engineering services in regard to various projects in
the Borough at a total cost not to exceed $25,000.00 is hereby
approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(1)(a) in accordance with the
Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and Beacon Planning & Consulting
Services, LLC.
Adopted this 25" day of June, 2020
and certified as a hue copy of the
original on June 26, 2020.
