The regular meeting of Council waelhe1d&-16e4day at 4:00 p.m.
in Savannah office, and was attended by Mayor Bright, who
preseided, and Councilmen Logan, Sharpley, Cann, Solomon,
Right= and Lovell and Town Attorney McIntire.
The minutes of the meeting of January 7th were read and approved.
Mr. J. i.Hennessy as attorney for the Estate of Mrs Jane W.
Punk petitioned that the discounts be allowed on taxes due
for_aithe years 1931 thru 1937, amounting to $ 414.40, they
offering to settle for $ 341.32. It was moved, seconded and passed
that the offer be accepted, provided that it is paid within ten
days.'
There being no further business Council adjourned subject to

Yrs. petitioned that the license granted them to do business
at 1:'rs. Carter's stand, (First street and First Avenue) be
transferred to their new place of business ( First Street and
+ourth Avenue). Petition granted.
Yrs. Carter petitioned that she be allowed to do business at
her place ( First Street and First Avenue) on a pro -rated basis
for 1937 from ,March 1st to April 30th,1938. Petition granted.
Tate minutes of the meeting of February 4th were read and approved.
It was roved, seconded and passed that 750 pee 2x10x16 clear
pine and 66 .pcs 6x6x16,and 4 pcs 4x6x16 clear pine be purchased
at 11 62.50 per Mbft =,Tybee, for use on the bulkheads at the
outh end., y k°
It was :moved,Aseconued and Massed that a quantity of oyster
.shell owned by Arthur ;Thomas, estimated at 6000 bushels be
purchased from 'hiii at .t3 -% per bushel fob pile, payment to
e made on actual number of bushels moved.
It was moved, secohiei;: and passed that the movement spon-
sored by tne4Young dens Club to have a Fleet Naval:Reserve
Unit a sti ohed in Savannah, be endorsed and approved.
It was -oved seconded and jassed,;Ktl at the discount be allow-
ed on the balance due on the 1932 ta.xe s of the Tybee Beach Co.,
Councilman Cann did' not vote on the motion.
