AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE SALARY FOR AN EXEMPT POSITION OF THE CITY
OF MOAB.
WHEREAS, the Governing body of the City of Moab is required to
set salaries of exempt positions of the City of Moab; and
WHEREAS, the exempt employee as defined in the Department of
Regulations #541, but not to be restricted to, will include at this
time, the following positions:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Moab that the
grade be set forth as follows:
Section 1. Yearly salary range for the following statutory
appointments only:
Treasurer -Grade 18 $20,511-$29,520
Police Chief-Grade25 $28,861-$42,137
Recorder -Grade 24 $27,487-$40,130
Public Works Dir.-Grade 22 $24,932-$36,399
Building Official-Grade23 $26,178-$38,219
City Manager $30,304-$44,244
Section 2. And hereinafter, the annual increase of 3 1/2% as
set forth in the Personnel Policies and Procedures
Manual and will be in effect without further
notice.
Section 3. Yearly salary rates for the following elected
official positions:
Mayor $12,000
Councilmember $ 6,000
Section 4. This Ordinance will become effective upon approval
by the City Council and publication. It is
retroactive to July 1, 1994.
Passed and approved by a majority vote of the City Council,
this 12th day of July, A.D., 1994.
