RESOLUTION NO.
78-31
RESOLUTION OF TIE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE
DISTRICT IN SUPPORT OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY
MEASURE IN THE NOVEMBER 7, 1975 ELECTION
WHEREAS, the Park Trust Fund (Measure C) was estab-
lished by the voters in 1972 as a means of financing the acqui-
sition and development of regional parks in Santa Clara County,
and
WHEREAS, in the general election of 1978, the voters
will be given an opportunity to extend the program for five
years and to broaden the use of the Park Trust Fund to include
operations and maintenance (Measure A);
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Board of Directors
of the fidpeninsula Regional Open Space District supports Measure
A to assure adequate maintenance and operations of existing Santa
Clara County parks while continuing to provide a much needed pro-
gram for acquisition and development.

RESOLUTION NO. 78-31
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula
Regional Open Space District on October 25 , 19 78 at a
regular meeting thereof, by the following vote:
AYES: R. Bishop, K. Duffy, B. Green, N. Hanko, E. Shelley,
H. Turner and D. Wendin
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None

I, the District Clerk of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space
District, hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
