ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING
CERTAIN EASEMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES IN MADELINE'S PARK
SUBDIVISION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by easements recorded in Book 271, Page 117; and Plat Book 12, Page 221 ,
of the Records of the Cole County, Missouri, sewer easements were granted to the City
of Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and
repair structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, Linder and through the lots,
tracts or parcels of land described in Section 1 ;
Section 1 . The Council finds that the following described easement are surplus
property of the City and are no longer needed for any public purpose:

A ten (10) foot sanitary sewer easement situated in and being a part of the Northeast Quarter
and the Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, as previously
described by easement deed recorded at Book 271,Page 117 of the Records of Cole County,
Missouri, the Centerline of which being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Corner Common to Lot 1, Lot 3 and Reserve Tract B of Madeline's Park
Subdivision as recorded by plat of the Records in Plat Book 12. Page 221 of Cole County,
Missouri; thence S19"51'24"E along the Line Common to said Lot 1 and Reserve Tract B,
58.27 feet to the point of beginning: thence leaving said Line Common to Lot *1 and Reserve
Tract B, S70"45'02"W along the Centerline of a,ten (10) foot sanitary sewer easement 83.08
feet to the point of termination. All easement lines to extend to and terminate at property lines.

(Lot 1, Madeline's Park Subdivision)
A fifteen (15) foot sanitary sewer easement situated in and being a part of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 4, Township 44 North, Range 12 West and a part of Lot I and Reserve
Tract B of Madeline's Park Subdivision as recorded by plat of the Records of Cole County,
Missouri, lying five(5)feet Westerly and ten (10) feet Easterly of the Centerline described as
follows:
Beginning at Corner Common to Lot 1. Lot 3 and Reserve I ract B of Madeline's Park
Subdivision as recorded by plat of the Records in Plat Book 12, Page 221 of Cole County,
Missouri; thence S19'51'24"E along the Line Common to said Lot I and Reserve Tract B
62.21 feet, to the point of termination.
SQctign 2. The easements described in Section 1 are hereby relinquished, and the
City does hereby release and abandon whatever Interost it has in the easements,
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any
necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tracts of ground
described in Section 1,
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
