AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CITY
CODE, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 2-355, BY ADDING ONE NEW SUB-SECTION IN
REGARDS TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION BUDGET
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Code is hereby emended by adding one new subsection to
section 2-355, to read as follows:
Sol:. 2-355. Appropriations.
The City through its 111111Ui1I budgeUtlg process shall adopt appropriations or shall set out
authorized appropriations by category. Appropriations shall be clip idCd into IWO classifirltions to he
known as"annual appropriations"and"continuing appropriations." I he cllcu•actcristW."and practice
with regard to each of these categories ofappropriations shall he as set out in 1I1C subsections bclow.
A. Annual appropriations: All appropriations shall he Considered all annual approprialloll
unless specifically designated either by category or' by indication within the budget

grants without council approval. Any funds remaining unexpended al the completion ul•lhc

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval,
