ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK 1-0 ENTER INTO A REVISED SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION
COMMISSION FOR PEDESTRIAN AND BIC'(CLE FACILITIES AS A PART OF THE
JEFFERSON CITY GREENWAY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS,The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved
Project No. STP-3111(507) under the STP-Urban Program; and
WHEREAS, This project is located within the municipal limits of the City of
Jefferson.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a revised
supplemental grant agreement on behalf of the City of Jefferson Parks and Recreation
Commission with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission extending until
June 30, 2005 the deadline for completion of plans, specifications and cost estimates for
pedestrian and bicycle facilities along the Frog Hollow Branch of Weal's Creek between
Wicker Lane and Southwest Boulevard, relating to Project No. STP-31 11(507).
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in for ni and content as
the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force arid effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
