ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION
19-401 (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS), SCHEDULES A (SPEED LIMITS), F (THROUGH
ROADWAYS), G (STOP INTERSECTIONS), AND J (PARKING PROHIBITED), OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY THE ADDITION OF VARIOUS LOCATIONS
WITHIN THE ALGOA AREA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 19-401 (Streets and Highways), Schedule A, (Speed Limits), of
the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by the addition of the
following various locations:
SCIII;DULF, A.SVEED LIMITS
(a) Fifty-Iwe miles perhour. No vehicle shall lie driven at it spce(.)in excess of lirty-live miles pct•
hour oil:
Liberty Road: front Ilighway 50/63 south and cast to the City Limits.
(c) t�orty_live miles per hour. No vehicle shall he driven at a speed in excess ol•fiorty-live miles
per hour on:
North Shamrock Road: from Ilighway 50/63 north to Algoa Road.
Slertrer Ruud: from ;Furth Shamrock Ruud to Algoa Road.
(d) forty miles per hour. No vehicle shall he driven at a speed in excess c,l•lists,miles her hour on:
Algoa Rued: front Militia Drive to State Houle.I.
Algoa Road: from North Shamrock Road to ,N ilitia Drive.
(e) Thirty-five stiles per hour. No vehicle shall he driven at a speed in excess of lhirty-
five miles per hour on:
Algon Road: front tNorlh Shanttrock Road to it point 1,7611 feel cast of the east
curb line of Tomahawk Road.
Section 2. Section 19-401 (Streets and Highways), Schedule F, (Lroucrh
Roadways), of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by the addition
of the following various locations:

Section 3. Section 19-401 (Streets and Highways), Schedule G, (Stop
Intersections), Subparagraph b (Other Specified Intersections), of the Code of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by the addition of the following various locations:

Algoa Spur: before entering Algon Road.

Section 4. Section 19-401 (Streets and Highways), Schedule J, (Parking
Prohibited), subparagraph a (Streets and Highways), of the Code of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, is hereby amended by the addition of a portion of Liberty Road, as follows:

Liberty Road:on both sides thereof;between the Ilighway-50/63 south right-of-
way line and a point 850 feel east.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
