Date: November 9, 2022— Regular Session
Time. 4:30pm
Location: 2198 Main Street Town Hall Room B & REMOTE PARTICIPATION
In Person Participants: Vice Chair Susan Barker, Clerk Marjorie McGinnis, Deputy Assessor
James Gallagher
Remote Participant: Chair Howard Hayes
Call to Order: Ms. Barker (acting as in person chair) called the meeting to order at 4:43 pm.
Declaration of a Quorum: A quorum was present. Members were participating in person and
remotely and confirmed that they could hear each other.
Meeting Participation Statement: Mr. Gallagher read the following meeting participation
statement: Pursuant to Chapter 107 of the Acts of 2022, this meeting will be conducted in person
and via remote means, in accordance with applicable law. This means that members of the public - -
body may access this meeting in person, or via virtual means. In person attendance will be at the
meeting location listed above, and it is possible that any or all members of the public body may
attend remotely. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, and public
participation in any public hearing conducted during this meeting shall be by remote means only.
Mr. Gallagher was monitoring the public comment/question email address and confirmed that no
questions or comments had been received.
Report of the Deputy Assessor: FY2023 Real Estate and Personal Property Tax bills were due
on November 2, 2022. The abatement application deadline has passed. The office is now
working on preparing the FY23 Boat Excise list.
Classified Land Applications (Chapter 61, 61A, 61B):
0 0 Main Street Rear, 89-2-0, Stephen Brown, Trustee: Mr. Gallagher presented the
renewal application, noting the application seeks to change classification from
Horticultural Land to Recreational Land, and recommended approval. Mr. Hayes made
the motion to approve the Chapter 6 1 B application. Ms. Barker seconded the motion.
Roll call vote- Hayes- aye; Barker- aye; McGinnis- aye; motion approved unanimously.
0 235 Run Hill Road, 45-5-0, James &Nancy Sheridan (Emerald Hollow Farm): Mr.
Gallagher presented the Chapter 61B renewal application and recommended approval.
Mr. Hayes made the motion to approve the Chapter 61B application. Ms. Barker
seconded the motion. Roll call vote- Hayes- aye; Barker- aye; McGinnis- aye; motion
approved unanimously.

Review and approve Regular Session Meeting Mimes- Ocfber 26-2022:
Mr. Hayes made the motion to approve the Chapter 6 1 B application. Ms. Barker seconded the
motion. Roll call vote- Hayes- ayes Barker- ayes McGinnis- aye; motion approved unanimously.
Matters Not Reasonably Anticipated by the Chair: None at this time.
Next Meeting: The next Board of Assessors meeting will be November 30, 2022 and December
14, 2021
Executive Session (To comply with or act under the authority of any general or special law or
federal grant-in-aid requirements: MGL Chap 59 Sec. 60 and MGL Chap. 214 Sec. 1B):
At 4:51pm Mr. Hayes moved to enter Executive Session for the reasons noted above, not to
return to regular session. Ms. Barker seconded the motion. Roll Call vote: Hayes- aye, Barker -
aye; McGinnis- aye; motion approved unanimously.
