RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF COLLECTIVE
BARGAINING AGREEMENT WITH CARTERET PBA
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (The "Borough") and the Carteret PBA are
parties to a collective bargaining agreement; and
WHEREAS, Said collective bargaining agreement' expired on December 31, 1995;
and
WHEREAS, the parites engaged in negotiations for a renewal agreement; and
WHEREAS, said negotiations resulted in arbitration; and
WHEREAS, the arbitrator made certain awards for the period of January 1, 1996 -
December 31, 1998 which are included in the attached collective bargaining
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute the attached collective bargaining agreement ,with the Carteret PBA on behalf
of the Borough.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 22, 1998.
