BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 2, Article II, Division 2, Part A, Sec.2-46 (A)(3) of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-46. Committees. A. Standing('cmin►!tlres. Review all mutters pertaining to environmental health services, including contracts & Franchises for serviees, federal and state requirements,needs of the community and other matters referred by the Council,(Ord.No. 1 2965,§2, ® 8-10-99) Section Chapter 2, Article VIII, Sec.2-321 (D) of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-321.Director,divisions,etc. The C.'ottutlunity Development department shall be stalled %valt it director and other personnel according to the personnel authorization ofthe budget as approved by the city council. Chapter 2, Article VIII, Division 2, Sec.2-324 (A)(B) of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec.2-324. Functions of director. A. The director of Community Development shall generally supervise and coordinate the work and operation of the assistant to the Community Development director,city planner,supervisor oi'building regulations, supervisor of animal rescue, supervisor of environmental health services, engineering division director, and wastewater division director. The director shall perlorm other functions as directed by the city administrator. D. The director shall supervise and coordinate the work and operation of the planting division, tine building regulations division,the animal rescue division,the environmental health services division, the wastewater division, the engineering division. and employees working for these divisions. Section 4. Chapter 35, Article IV, , Sec.35-41 (13)(6)(a)(1)(b) of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended to read as follows: G. Day Care Homes for Children or Adults. Day care for seven to ten children or adult clients may be authorized by Conditional Use Permit as provided in Exhibit 35-28 Land Use Matrix, subiect to (lie following requirements: a. Administrative Procedures. (1) Inspections, Licensing and Permits. The fallowing inspections and permits are required: (a) Conditional Use Day Care hone Permit (b) Annual I•:nvironmental health Services Inspection; (c) Compliance with Slatc of Missouri Licensing requirement,,as applicable. A state license shall not override the City's restrictions on the number of clicntti allowed in a Day Care Hone. 2 Sectign 6�.
