ORDINANCE NO.,._._
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
WITH STOKES ELECTRIC CO. FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
an amendment to the agreement with Stokes Electric Co. for electrical services.
Section 2. The amendment shall be substantially the same in form and content
as that amendment attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

AMEND MrN'T TO ELECTRICAL SERVICE,S AG'.KrUMENT
WHEREAS;, tlir City of Jefferson, N1.issouri, a municipal corporation, wit:h offices ,it. 320 East;
McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Nlissouri, 65101, hereinafter designated "City," entered into
an Agreement with Stokes E'lect:ric Co., with offices at 226 Nladison, Jefferson City, Missouri,
65101, hereinafter referred to its "Cont.ractor," on July 23, 2003, and amended on April 21,
2004; and June 24, 2001;
WIIEREAS, the Agrceme.nt w,ls fir the perf,6rn1ance of,luthorized electrical work for the City,
which may involve service, repairs, replacrtnent or related work on rill City electrical systems
which include. buildings, Imenty-three (23) sonikirx, sewer pump stations and t w Wnter
Pollution Control Plant.; and
WHEREAS,both parties wish to extend the agreement for the final year of two additional one
year renewal periods ns stipulated in Item 2 of the agreement dated July 23, 2003, and
amended on April 21, 2004, anti June 24, 2004..
NOW, THEREFORE, be it agrec(l by the parties that the agreement is hereby renewed for
the final year of the two additional one-,year periods to end June 30, 2006.
