The total sum voted on the floor of the Annual. Town Meeting on May 10, 1976
under Article 18 to be raised and appropriated to defray Town charges and
expenses (excluding educat`:iorial' funding) for fiscal year ending 6/30/76 was
$1 ,777,599.05. True to an error in addition incorporating amended amount: i.n
the budget the actual total came to $1,776,838.81. It was the intent of the
meeting to vote the actual figarre, which was $1 ,776,838.81 , or $760.24 less
th.-an the figure giver, on the floor of Town Meeting.
Further, in Article 18 the budget was voted on the floor of Town Meeting
showed the Inspector of Buildings — Junior Office Clerk $3,185.00, which is
the salary; for Senior Office Clerk. The correct designation should be Senior
Office Clerk. The intent of the meeting was to vote for Senior Tice Clerk.
